Mold Making

The following images are formal documentation of my current work involving mold-making. Through out my practice I have worked with many different mold-making techniques including, silicone, plaster, moldex, and body safe alginate.

Silicone Molds

While these images only include one part molds, I have worked with a range of more complex molds. Molds that I have experience with that are not pictured are two part molds , latex with plaster mother molds , and multi-part plaster molds.

Spoon Moldex Mold

Above is an image of a mold made with Moldex for wax injections.

Teeth Cast

This is a mold made from a plaster cast of my teeth that I then used to cast resin (shown above) and wax replicas for electro-forming (not pictured).
